Palliative care

A terminal illness is one that does not respond to specific treatments to cure or stabilise the disease, and therefore leads to death within a variable, but not very long, period of time. This process can be characterised by a high degree of physical, psychological and family suffering.

Palliative care aims to improve the quality of life of patients affected by a terminal illness, and its objective is to achieve the best possible quality of life by controlling the physical and psychological symptoms and the social and spiritual needs of patients. We have a specialised medical and nursing team.

We aim to:

  • Control of pain and its symptoms
  • Personalised patient care
  • Nutrition, postural changes…
  • Family support
  • Support from the care team itself
  • Maintaining the patient’s good image (personal hygiene, etc.).
  • Providing the patient with comfort and well-being care and facilitating rest.
  • Provide a pleasant environment (ventilated room, adequate light, etc.).
  • Maintain order in the work unit to facilitate the work of other professionals.
  • Accompany and care in the final phase of life, giving support to those who need it.

Vigils and nights

They can be in hospitals or at home, day or night.

We have male and female candidates with extensive experience in geriatrics (assistants, night carers).

They are in charge of hygiene, feeding, medication, supervision, etc. in homes.
In hospitals, they supervise and care for the patient. If the need for night care is more intense or when the patient requires permanent attention or special care during the night, it is advisable to hire an employee with a night shift in vigil, who will remain awake and alert throughout the day.

Our main objective is your peace of mind and the care of your loved one.

Diversity care
